Enjoy the full potential of your grapes
Tracking the color and turbidity will allow you to control more precisely your pressing process and extract the very best of your grapes every time.
Master the wine maturation like never before
It is essential to preserve the wine against oxidation and contaminating microorganisms (eg acetobacteria and / or Brettanomyces sp.). Thus, filling is an essential procedure to protect the wine from oxidation and to maintain the desired SO2 level inside the barrel.
Accurate blending and stock control…
…are key factors in the wine storage process.
Environnmental conditions…
…play an important role in wine production.

About us

WINEGRID – a unique project for the art of the winemaking
In 2014, after 14 years of applied scientific research in the topic of optical sensors at Telecommunications Institute of University of Aveiro, Rogério Nogueira and Lúcia Bilro founded WATGRID. The main objective was to bring high quality, accurate and reliable liquid technology to the market, enabling the digitalization of processes in any liquid related industry. A few months after the company’s foundation, a new product line was created to fill a gap identified: the precise, accurate, remote and real-time monitoring of the winemaking process. Since then, through WINEGRID brand, the company has been delivering its proprietary, unique and cutting-edge technology, along with top notch customer support, to wine producers all over the world.
The innovative character of the company is based on its extraordinary human capital with more than 15 skilled collaborators in the areas of Oenology, Electrical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, Chemistry, and more. This team, with some members accumulating more than 20 years of experience in sensors design, place WINEGRID in a unique position to be a reliable strategic innovation partner for winemakers.
More than 150 million wine bottles were already produced with the precious help of WINEGRID’s solutions, and the increasing adoption of this technology by the most important wine producers is a validation of its capabilities and obvious benefits.
